linky party tutorial

I wish someone would have provided this info for me when I was first starting out with blogging. I had to learn the hard way. Then I had some people ask me how to link up. I will have a link to this post on my side bar too. I don't want the reason you don't link up be because you don't know how.

I don't explain things well so I took pictures. Sorry for the poor quality! Here we go.

Click on the title of the post that you want to link up.

Instead of just the address of your blog being at the top, it will have the date and title of your post added on there as well. Highlight it by double clicking. Then right click and select "copy".

The go to the blog that is hosting the linky party. Scroll down to the "enter here" button at the bottom of the post. It will bring you to a screen like this.

 In the first line right click and paste your post title. Then in the next line write the title or a description of your project.

 Enter your e-mail in the next line. The last step is to add a picture. Click on "from web" and it will bring up all the pictures from your post. You can choose the one you want and even crop it to fit better. If for some reason it doesn't bring up your pictures, you can choose "from file" and get it from your computer.

That's it! Now you can party with all of us!!!
