My favorite posts from this year

So since most of you are new here, and because I like to look back and reminisce, I am posting some of my favorite posts of 2010. I have almost been blogging for 4 months! It has gone by so fast and I have loved every minute of it. When I started, I posted a few things before I actually "launched" the site. Not even my family had the address. I wanted there to be some projects up for people to look through. I launched it on September 2 and it has been a blast. Thank you to all of you who have made this such a fun ride. I have loved every comment and e-mail I have received. Here we go!

My faux window. I need to take better pictures now that I know more about my camera. But you get the idea!

To see the whole post about this faux window click HERE.

My boys' rooms turned out just the way I had envisioned them in my head which doesn't always happen.

I added a few more touches to the "monkey" room but I am too lazy to take new pictures.

My older boys wanted a room where they felt small like a bug. So using a few parts of an existitng bed and making most of them, I created this fun bunk bed.
This is the giant Popsicle stick that we use to measure our boys 2 times a year. For the full post click HERE and HERE.

I fixed up my old bathroom for around $75.00. The vanity went from this. . .

To this.

And the bead board went from this. . . .

To this.
I even cut a hole in the floor and added a laundry chute since my laundry room is right below. See the post HERE.

I LOVE throwing birthday parties for my kids. So much so that I created a blog all about parties :) This post is really from that blog, but I did post it here as well, so it counts right??? This was my son's 9 year old Detective Party. See the whole post HERE.

I love the show Cupcake Wars on the Food Network and sometimes I pretend that I am on the show, only I don't use wacky ingredients.

Chocolate strawberry
Peaches and cream

Root Beer Float
Chocolate Malt
See the posts with recipes HERE and HERE.

For Halloween I decided to figure out how to make a spider treat for my boys. There is a chocolate version. . .
. . . and a peanut butter version. Both were yummy! See them HERE.

One of my favorite posts was the one about BABY WEIGHT because of the comments and e-mails I received about it. I am glad I am not the only one :)

One of my very favorite projects this year was refinishing my mom's antique desk that had been in her barn for YEARS!

There is a full tutorial HERE.

I had a lot of fun making AND using this Thankful Tree. You can read about it HERE.

You probably have seen this since it wasn't that long ago, but it was my favorite project I have done since blogging :) I am not going to tea stain it, by the way. I have really liked it the way it is. In case you missed it, click HERE.

I can't wait for 2011!!! I am sure it will be even better :) Thanks for all your support!!!

P.S. Tomorrows linky party will be along the same lines as this post. I know that with Christmas you probably didn't whip out new projects so I want you to link up your favorite posts from this year. Come back tomorrow and party!!!
