Positively Splendid!

We have an AWESOME guest today! She will blow you away with her ideas. You will love Amy :)

Hello, everyone! I am absolutely tickled to be swapping with Stacy today. Her blog is so full of inspirational projects!

My name is Amy, and my corner of the blogging world is know as Positively Splendid, a place where you'll find me sharing about my passions for crafting, sewing, cooking, decorating and raising a family - and just about everything in between! Having three children in stair-step fashion has prompted me to have a true passion for just about all things domestic, and my blog is a chronicle of my quest to create an inviting environment in which our love for one another can grow and flourish. I would love to have y'all stop in for a visit!

I absolutely adore turning ordinary objects into something beautiful, which is exactly what I did recently with a set of three ordinary diaper boxes.

Curious to see how I did it? Head here for the full tutorial!

In a refashioning project of the wearable variety, I recently turned a plain-Jane tee into a fun little bolero! You can find the tutorial for how I did it here.

Having three children five and under makes coming up with projects that are easy to put together in a limited amount of time and on a tight budget a must for me. I recently started a series called Creating in a Crunch that is dedicated to these types of projects: quick, easy and inexpensive ways to get your creative fix. I shared a how-to for Sliding Door Valentines as the first installment in the series. These would be a great last-minute card to put together if you're still needing Valentine's Day ideas!

If you're already yearning like I am for planting spring flowers, you should earmark the tutorial for my Tiered Terracotta Planter. This is such a dynamic, yet simple, project!

But in the meantime of waiting on the warm weather to arrive, keep your kiddos occupied during snow days by making some of these adorable Bubble Wrap Crocodiles. They are sure to be a hit!

Thanks so much, Stacy, for having me over today! It has been a pleasure!
